José Juan Marcos González, President of the Board of Grupo Siete Leguas, explained that this investment will facilitate the expansion of the aluminum machining and assembly areas.
“The presence of this facility underscores the commitment that both the government and our company have towards the region we share. We are united in our interest for growth and development in this area. As a company, we are proud to be a part of this community, which is why we chose to invest and grow here,” Marcos González stated.
Governor of Durango, Esteban Villegas Villarreal, noted that this new Siete Leguas facility is one of 31 companies that will establish operations in the state this year.
The governor expressed gratitude for the trust that the company has placed in La Laguna and Durango, acknowledging that the Mexican firm has made a significant contribution to the regional economy through its skilled labor force.
In addition, Gómez Palacio Mayor Leticia Herrera emphasized that the municipality is a fertile ground for investment, driven by the governor’s international business missions.
“As a government, we are facilitators in providing the necessary conditions for entrepreneurs to invest their capital and create companies and jobs,” Villegas Villarreal added.
