Successful conclusion of the automotive event

The International Automotive Industry Supply Summit 2023 brought together 100 purchasing companies.

Mexico's auto parts and automotive industry is living a historic moment with an unprecedented opportunity due to the emergence of new zero-emission mobility trends, said the executive president of the National Auto Parts Industry (INA), Francisco González Díaz.

This, at the inauguration of the International Automotive Industry Supply Summit 2023, which brought together in one place the main international suppliers and buyers of the automotive industry, at the Querétaro Congress Center (QCC).

"All this is linked to electromobility, making the demand for supply chains resilient, clean and growing," said Gonzalez, who explained that 2,000 companies from 12 countries participated, in addition to representatives from 26 Mexican states, in 11,000 square meters of exhibition area.

» Governor Mauricio Kuri, authorities, representatives of the automotive industry such as INA, CAPIM and the Automotive Cluster of Querétaro and attendees carried out the inaugural ribbon cutting of the Expo.

The auto parts expert commented that the event hosted 512 stands, business meetings, conferences and networking sessions. A 100 large purchasing companies participated and 2,239 suppliers registered.

González pointed out that they decided to hold this expo in Querétaro because it is an important engine for the country's automotive and auto parts industry, as evidenced by its nearly 100 companies in the industry, as well as nine educational institutions and nine research and development centers. Recognized leaders in the automotive industry also participated in conferences.

Supply opportunities

For his part, the national president of the Industry Suppliers Chain in Mexico, René Mendoza Acosta, added that buying companies participated with 806 purchase requirements.

» In the halls of the Querétaro Congress Center there were 512 stands, business meetings, conferences and networking sessions.

"In total 4,512 business appointments between buyers and suppliers, in the end what we are looking for is that the companies that come to Querétaro sell (...)," he explained.

The suppliers that participated are from the United States, Canada, China, Korea, Germany, Japan, Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Sweden, Taiwan, Brazil, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
