With an investment of 57.4 million dollars, Bendix has inaugurated its fourth industrial plant in the country. The new facility, covering 17,000 square meters in Acuña, Coahuila, will employ highly automated manufacturing processes to produce two emerging next-generation technologies: global and scalable braking control (GSBC) and global and scalable air treatment (GSAT).

“We are proud to present this new industrial plant, which represents a physical manifestation of our advance towards greater automation and high-tech assembly in our Acuña operation,” said Piotr Sroka, President, CEO, and Director of Operations at Bendix. Sroka also noted that the new industrial plant's opening is a significant milestone in Knorr-Bremse's BOOST 2026 program (Transformation and Optimization Strategy), the Munich-based parent company of Bendix.

With this new investment, the German company is expected to create 181 new jobs.
